Board means get on; alight means get off. Waiting permission is separate from the stop type.
Stop types explained
- Sidewalk / roadside
- A stop mapped along the street. Its location does not confirm boarding or waiting access.
- Waiting area / shed
- A place mapped for waiting; a shed includes a shelter. Check its published waiting permission before using it.
- Terminal
- A starting or ending point for a route.
- Major stop
- A stop classified as a main stop in the transport network.
- Transfer point
- A place to change between routes. Each route direction can have different access rules.
